Franklin Tennessee has a long and interesting history from it's founding after the Revolutionary War to the emergence of Franklin as the modern day mecca of major business concern.

The town square boast a statute of a Confederate Soldier recognizing the the Civil War Battle of Franklin, considered by many historian to have been the bloodest single battle of the War.  Contrast this with the massive office buildings surrounding the Cool Springs Galleria Shopping destination where major corporations, most noteably Nissan North America, have their national headquarters.

Franklin's transition from sleepy county seat to thriving business center has been accompanied by the growth of beautifully landscaped sub divisions with reasonably priced upscale homes.  Luxury condo homes have been built in downtown Franklin beginning at $1 million and well worth it.  Older homes are well maintained and offer outstanding bargains for the retirement couple or the growing family.

The Nolensville and Arrington areas east of Franklin are beginning their housing growth as people arrive in Franklin daily looking for land to build their dream home or looking for an existing dream home.  Increasingly they are pushing development eastward directly into the waiting arms of the Nolensville and Arrington communities. Surprisedly, there are large parts of the Franklin area that are farm land and forest land waiting for someone to build on a small piece of real estate close to the City.
